** IMPORTANT NOTICE **
Wednesday, 17 June 2009

In the past few weeks, Saskatoon homeowners have been introduced to three different alarm companies from Utah. These companies are one in the same, but operate under the names "Vigilon", "Pinnacle" and "Apx". These companies blitz cities across Canada and the US each summer in attempt to grow their customer base. Once the summer is gone, so are they.

CSS has had numerous inquiries from upset and frightened customers who have been approached by door-to-door salespeople who are saying that they are affiliated with CSS.

IN NO WAY ARE THESE COMPANIES AFFILIATED WITH CSS. CSS is a Canadian alarm company with a local office in downtown Saskatoon. CSS will never knock a customer's door in order to perform a service call unless contact by phone has been made by our local office in advance.

CSSWith these three companies, once the installation is done, who do you deal with? Where do you call for service if something is broken? What is the name and the physical address of the company providing the monitoring services?

They offer the same alarm equipment and techologies that CSS offers, but market their product as though it is a unique one-of-a-kind technology. They offer FREE equipment in exchange for being allowed to post a small sign for advertising their company, on the customer's front lawn. The fail to inform however, that the monthly monitoring rates are between $39.95 and $59.95. These companies try and swindle existing clients that are under contract by using high pressured sales techniques. They may use some of the following techniques:

1. "Free upgrade to your current alarm system"
2. Some sales people have been using names of employees from CSS.
3. They may tell you that you are not in a contract. (You should check with our office first)

Please call our local office if you feel that you have been approached by one of these companies. DO NOT OFFER ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, CODES OR PASSWORDS.

For more information, call our local office at 306-651-1959.

Homestyles Show Draw Winner
Wednesday, 25 March 2009

Draw being made at Breen & AssociatesThe SRHBA Homestyles Show was once again a huge success! Tens of thousands of people came from all over central Saskatchewan to view what's new in home building and renovation products. Many people stopped in at the CSS booth and we were able to answer many questions and concerns relating to personal, life and fire safety.

Every year during the Homestyles Show, CSS has a draw for a door prize. This year the winning entry had the choice of one of three prizes. The first prize was an alarm system with a year of monitoring. The second choice was a video intercom system and the third choice was a color infrared surveillance camera. Thank you to all who entered! The winning ballot was drawn on Monday, March 23rd at Breen & Associates Chartered Accountants. Congratulations Norm R. of Saskatoon for being the winning entry!

If you saw us at the show and are considering home or business security, we have a great promotion going on right now! Sign up now and receive $19.95/month monitoring rates and 60% of any equipment that you require. This promotion makes security very affordable.
